Default Plugs Question

Just 2 quick question; I've searched but I really do not see anything like this or i dont know what key words to use; You know the color of shiny metal when you heat it up really hot it kinda leaves behind that bluish discolored tint?

What does it mean when a small edge on a plug; this is not the tip; but the outer flat part that surrounds the core has this?

What plugs should i use to be in the correct heat range to deliver the best performance and burn when using 180 T-Stat? Engine Temp varies 180~195 depending on weather conditions and the fact i have a fan clutch.

Running the Copper Plus Champions I forget the number and 180 T-Stat. But its the next step up from the resistor type that was originally called for on the truck. 1997 5.2L 4x4

I though bluing was cause from too much heat. As far as plugs I run 3923's also. Magnums seem to like them. I think I got all mine for my truck for 15.00 at autozone.

Can you post up a pic of them so we can see. Im still really not sure. You could call a dealer or someone that really knows vehicles well to see if they would know.
