Default 2001 fog lights not working?

Hey guys picking up a 2001 quad cab 4x4 here soon and neither of the fog lights work. Is this a common issue on these trucks and something easy or is it just like any other car? Want to check the easy stuff first and see if there are common issues.

Thanks!

Yup, there's a fuse for the fogs, under the hood in the PDC, fuse "H" 20 amp.

The relay is in there too. You should hear it click when you try the switch.

So if it clicks does that mean the switch is good too? I hear it click when I pull out for the fogs, all fuses are good so that means it's the bulbs or wiring past the fuse box(?) I was under the truck today and all connections look good, wiring looks solid

Yes, clicking is good. Check the bulbs themselves next.

I have the same issue on my 98 it's only the passengerside though look at the plug it's self they can melt over time and water and dirt get in there and blow the bulb that's my issue it's a easy fix just get a new plug and replace it takes bout 2 seconds I had to do it on my drivers side that one works like a dream

Hmm I will test for power and if worst comes to worst, I will do that. I want to get them working and then maybe I will work on a way to waterproof them haha. I put HIDs in the fogs on my grand cherokee and had to cut into the housing to fit the extra wires and I just RTV'd it all up and put heat shrink around the wires and it's been through mud, snow, rain and underwater and they both still work.
