Hit a deer...
On my way to work Friday morning. It was still dark and raining, didn't even see it until it was about 10 feet from me. Mostly cosmetic but the radiator has a hole in it. I hope it's not totaled. I don't feel like buying another vehicle.

one thing I tried
One thing I tried when in a small accident was I asked if I could do my own repairs just send me the money for the work they said yes.
This way I could choose what I wanted installed and save myself some cash also.
Just ask them about that option.
I had no body work needed just replacing parts bumper lights so on body work I cant do body work.

I don't think it will be totaled but then again it's not worth much. It's 10 years old with 141k miles on it. It's probably not worth more than 4-5k. I just know body work like this can rack up a big bill quick especially since both radiators are smashed. I'm worried about the bumper. The bumper it's self seems fine but it's obviously not in the right spot. Something is tweaked behind it.

looks like my dak
That looks like My Dak did it’s the bumper brackets they bend and need replacing.
Get an estimate from your IN. Co. and go from there ask about doing the work yourself if no body work is needed and do it yourself.
Unless you dont have the time to do the work but its rather easy to do I did it so can you.

Or if they total it, buy it back for cheap and fix it yourself... then you actually make money. Had that happen with one of our bikes when it was involved in an accident. Got totaled, we bought it back real cheap, fixed it, and wound up actually making money off of it. And the satisfaction of finally getting some of that hard earned money back from the pig insurance companies is so sweet.

Ouch..Doesn't look too bad from the pic. It looks repairable to me. I hit a small doe back in 2007. It was no bigger than a good sized dog but I was going about 75 mph on the interstate and it still did $3,500.00 in damage, but my insurance covered it. I only had to pay the $500.00 deductible. If your insurance gives you a hard time, tell them you will get an attorney involved. Sometimes that is what it takes to get them to listen to you. I went through hell with Allstate back in 2010 when some idiot pulled out in front of me and did over $4,000.00 in damage to my truck. Bottom line is don't let the insurance company screw you over. No offense intended to DakCC4x4.
