Is there any way to know if my truck came with keyless entry? Can buy a key fob on E-Bay but the cost to have it programed is ridiculous.

Unfortunately, if you don't have a working remote already you need a dealer to program the remote.

 

Yep sorry if you dont have a working remote you cant just get one without going to the dealer. Doesnt take that long bout a hr or so. Call the local dealers and see what they charge. Tho by the time you spend the 90-150 to get it done might as well add aftermarket. You can get a really nice remote start/keyless entry for 200.00

 

ive had to do this on a few durangos for the car lots and email dodge request a build sheet and it will say if it had keyless entry or not if it did then i would call the local dodge dealer and get a pn for the fob as there is several different pn for the same fob i order them online then take them to dodge to program the last one i took in was 55 bucks then you can program more yourself

 

How can one program the FOb themselves?

Your dealer, I know, can help you out with the remote and programming. Once you get one programmed, you can do the others.

 

Some one had suggested getting the P/N for remote and buying cheaper online than have dealer program first one.

 

Get them off ebay. I dont know if they dealer would be able to program one that you brought in or not. You would have to ask them. After you get one done you can add up to 4 of them.
