Quick question...

How does one know if they have factory security? I have a standard lock/unlock remote with a panic button and a regular black IGN key.

If you have the factory alarm the ignition key will be gray. It also incorporates a transponder in the key itself that has to match the anti-theft alarm in the truck, otherwise the truck will not start if the wrong key or a blank un-programmed key is used.
