Default Air bag light

Just replaced the Clockspring and my air bag light is still on. Was told the system should reset its self and the light would go out. Do I need to do something else or do I have a another issue?

Did the horn or cruise control not work?

You probably have another issue. It is supposed to do a self test at key on.

It can be read by the dealer. Most scan readers won't pick up body trouble codes.

Horn worked not sure about cruise control (never use it). Broke clockspring when I replace the steering shaft.Had a buddy that did his but it is in a Ford and his supposedly has to be reset by dealer. Everything I have read about Dodge they reset. I assuming I have another issue. Already had in the dealer when had a key fog programed they want $180 to tell what the problem is. This is why I don't like to deal with dealerships. $180 to hook up scanner and tell what the issue is a little outrageous. Wish I could make $180 for 5 mins time.

Have your dash apart recently?

When throwing my sub in I forget to unplug the air bag connection so I yanked a little too hard and thing I damaged the connection.

My airbag light is intermittent and i'm 90% sure its cause I pulled the dash apart.
