depends on your budget. Bilstein or rancho are great shocks for a budget but if you can squeeze some extra cash maybe look at fox 2.0 emulsions. I havent had stock shocks on for quite awhile so I dont know the compressed and extended length and all that but id go with fox or a bigger name company if possible. If not bilstein or rancho would be your best choice budget wise

rancho for a 3' lift in rear and monroe reflex in fronts..tried the ranchos in front but they were too tall

Since you off-road a lot, I'd guess Rancho.

I use the Monroe and mostly drive the street and limited off-road, so they work great for my ride.

  • Sensa-Trac

Reflex, I believe. Automatically adjusts between 2 stages.

Really like them!

Really like them!
The Reflex shock is what I installed and I like them also. The reviews at the time for the Reflex indicated that they are a good match for the 4x4 Dakota but some thought they were a bit too firm for other vehicles such as SUVs.

YES THE REFLEX r recommended for the light off road and street use as well, i do my fair share of both and they work well, and don't kill the budget either..got mine at advance
