How many miles do you have on your 4.7??

Default How many miles do you have on your 4.7??

I have heard that the 4.7l is really reliable so i just thought i would see who has got a lot of miles on them and if you have had any trouble.
So post them up how many miles do you have on your 4.7?

75,000, the only thing 'major' that I have/had to do is a front main seal. No idea if this is a common problem or not.

207,000. engine has been great.

replaced: fuel pump, alternator, battery, front hubs, TCCM, CTM, rear diff seals, bearings and axles,,,,

Wish i could say the same but my luck with the 4.7L has been anything other than reliable. I made it to 140K then my engine went out due to overheating/oil sludge issue thats common with these engines

145K runs well but the rest of the truck is falling apart. Front main is leaking but not enough to change yet.

Use synthetic blend if you're not already.

My rear seal is showing weepage, but the blend (high mileage) oil seems to help it.

176,000 miles and still running great, very little problems with mine and it still pulls my boat great!
