Are you doing just the metal part? One can should be more than enough. The stuff goes a long way. I used one can to put like 3 coats on my Jeep's fender flares and still had half of it left. And I've painted a ton of other stuff with it, too. I love that stuff.

Depends how many coats and how much of the bumper im a firm believer in getting one to many. This way you wont run out 3/4 of the way through and be screwed. You can always return extra. I used like 3 cans for 4 wheels but I did like 6 coats so it was extra thick.

I'm gonna do the whole bumper, plastic and metal part, probably 4-5 coats. I found a video where a guy said he got 3 coats from 1 can so I'll probably get 2 cans and not be bashful.

Is that stuff kind of like the Rhino liner you can paint on?

That stuff is thick

It's basically a plastic-rubber-vinyl compound that you spray on like paint, then it vulcanizes and hardens onto the surface. It doesn't color-fade like bedliner does, but it's also not as thick or durable. You can spray it on a surface, and it'll peel right off like a vinyl overlay.

In that case, I agree. Pick up two cans.
