Default Squeaking

Hi all. I need some help narrowing down a bunch of noise (squeaking) coming from under the truck. It squeaks when i turn the stearing wheel at low speeds (through parking lots and such). It also squeaks when going over any sort of bumps...shocks maybe? It only has 40k miles on it. It's a 2003.

I've tried the search and will continue searching in case i looked over something but any help is appreciated

First thing to check would be the stabilizer bar end links.

Honestly, I thought it was normal... Mine has squeaked since I purchased it in '05.

I'd like to know where I can lube to get rid of it, but I'm not bothered, yet.

Sway bar bushings, mine did the same noise. Replaced them with polyurethane bushings and no squeak since.

I had "squeaky" shock. Replace it, gone.

Also try looking into the bushings on the A arm. I know mine is a few years older but i know they give off alot of noise.

I agree with BCDakotaboy on the sway bar bushings. You guys should try this thread and see if it sounds similar and what to look for!! I had the same symptoms you described and I did the poly ones on mine, fixed it then they got squeaky again, so I just had to take them off and grease them some more. I think it was from all the long trips on the salty winter roads when I was going to and from school a few years ago, hasn't come back since I greased them the second time.

To see where the squeak is/are coming from you can try spraying your various bushings (one at a time). When the squeaks stop you found the culprit(s). Mine was the sway bar bushings too.
