The only thing I see in the FSM is related to the valve body and front band.

The front band is only used for second gear (It's the only hanging component that changes state from first to second [the over-run clutch lets go but it hanging up would not cause it to refuse to shift]), so if it is loose, it may be slow to grab and/or slip. On the 2-3 shift the front band lets go and the front clutch engages.

I got a check engine light today, P1757...at least it gives me something to go on.

P1757 Gov Press above 3 PSI in gear with 0 MPH

Okay, new pressure regulator and sensor and I still have wild shifts. Any other suggestions?
