Redlining before shift
#11
Okay, throttle body lever and the lever on the tranny are in absolute sync. (had to use a camcorder, long AV cables and a TV to verify it but it is done.) Still have the rev limiter kicking in and some funny shifts happening.
What would you recommend next...pressure reg, speed sensor, band adjustment?
I know you have seen the questions hundreds of times and I appreciate you all putting up with me.
Thanks,
-Keith

The front band is only used for second gear (It's the only hanging component that changes state from first to second [the over-run clutch lets go but it hanging up would not cause it to refuse to shift]), so if it is loose, it may be slow to grab and/or slip. On the 2-3 shift the front band lets go and the front clutch engages.
