Will 1500-3500 mirrors bolt up on a 02 Dakota, or anything that's better for towing than the stock ones??

I have power mirrors now

Im pretty sure the bases are different. They look similar but not sure. You might be able to mod them to work but no guarantees. I can go measure the base on my ram tom if you want.

Please, maybe a pic or two with the tape measure

Any idea if the mounting studs are the same??

I did a little searching and they say the bolts are very close but the biggest problem is the base doesnt fit the dakota door contour. I couldnt find anyone post up a write up or pics of it done. A lot of people talk about doing it but no solid proof.

I can't blow up your truck pic good enough to see your mirror
But, my '99 has what try call tow- package mirrors on it. They
Are larger than stock. Might want to check into those.

I too have a "Sport" and found the mirrors rather lacking for towing. I got a set of Regular Dakota/Dorango mirrors from a breakers yard and they went straight on. All the electrics work fine. The mirrors are a good size bigger and have the advantage (for me, in London!) of being foldable. You can also fit these if you need even wider viewing angles.

I got some but can't remember where I bought them, pretty sure I didn't pay that much!

They would bolt up for me, but the plug would be different. 01 and up has a different plug, if they both have the same number of wires I guess I could make it work, but IDK if they do or not
