E3 spark plugs in a 4.7 2004
To open a can of worms with this post I'll say save your money. Copper plugs conduct better and the engine originally came with them, Champion RC12MCC4. They don't last as long as the other "more exotic plugs" so if you haven't changed them in the last 30k miles get to it!
I just had a major mess a few months ago because of a spark plug. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE CHANGING YOUR PLUGS REGULARLY AND USING ANTISIEZE. 1500 bucks over a 5 dollar plug.
Now to the plugs. Just get the oem plugs and save your money. The 4.7 likes the copper and doesn't like the fancier stuff.

But the plugs have been in there for 9 years. The factory does not put antisieze on them. Just a warning, thats all. What kind of mileage are you getting? I get around 21 mpg in my 03 qc 4x4 4.7 auto.
Hmm. That sounds low to me but I have only had mine a year now and its my first 4.7.
24K on it? And an 04?
also low mileage doesn't mean better condition. Seals dry out, electronics still go bad. Vac lines crack. It has done a lot of sitting with miles being that low. I would recommend a tuneup first.
My Dad and I went to Joe Nall this year.
