Yeah I have traced it back and greased the lever it connects to and that part moves freely.

I'm thinking that because the transmission was under water some dirt may have found its way in between the cable and the black hose that surrounds the cable if that makes sense.

It makes sense to me. If you can, tho, either try to salvage your TV cable or get a used one from the wrecker where you got your replacement engine.

The one time I tried to source one for my 96, the one I found online was $81.

There is a pick and pull 20 mins away from me so I'll look there next weekend. Will need to replace that and fix my brake line then get the truck reinsured.

It was supposed to be sunny today but now it is raining so my plans to start the truck today are delayed. If its not started today it will for sure be tomorrow

Will keep ya updated.

Well guys....

Had to videotape it - showed it to my grandfather who I bought the truck off of haha.

Magnet,

I did try grease ad PB blaster 2 seperate times. I may try pulling it off and trying to lube it, otherwise I'll go to a pick and pull.

Thanks for all the help guy!! I appreciate it.

Cheers

Video won't run, "This Video is Private."

Assuming it started and runs okay, tho. Congrats!
