Exclamation either bad wiring/ground issue

okay sooo i have had this problem about 2 maybe 3 months now.when my left signal light comes on, and stays on.... my truck acts up a lot. it will stall, left signal will not work, and when i take my keys out to go home for the night... the left light, brake light (top and left rear) are on as well as the front. when i try to drive... i simply cant. it will stall out faster if i leave the pedal pushed in any bit. stereo will still work. wipers do not. and i can turn on my night time lights with the dash. the light gets stronger if i hit the brake. and the most recent one i have noticed... was if i hit the parking/hazard lights, the CD player sounds like its acting up and making a noise (or from that area) and does not stop until i flip my dash lights on and off again

now.... a month or two ago when this all started WAS after i changed my front 2 fenders and and rear box, that being said... i did sand or scratch (only when i missed a sand) any and every ground on the fender so it was fresh metal on metal. this problem did not start immediately after i changed these fenders.

my Temporary Fix to this solution until i can track the problem (which i will post on here after) is to drive/start the vehicle with my night lights WITH high beams on. than i can drive it fine with minimal or no stalling. to turn the truck off for the night...... i take out the negative on the battery.

i did also replace the clutch last week and the speed sensor in the rear diff

** i have tried to change the signal switch as well, no luck**

I have a 00' Dakota 3.9v6 5 speed manual 4x4
here is a picture of my dash with the keys out before i go to unplug my battery in case this picture does not show up...

Forgive me for asking but what are "night lights?"

The rear lights and the wipers share a ground, G103. It's on the left fender, just behind the battery.

Yeah both fenders were replaced. And that ground is definitely clean. It was sanded clean. And as for what I said about night lights. I mean when in turn on my dash/ headlights switch for the night time

What pedal is it that you push and it stalls more?

I'm trying to figure out what sets this chain of events off.

Once upon a time, I had a bunch of stuff drop out, dome light, headlights, turn signals, etc. Turned out to be a faulty Central Timing Module (down under the dash on the drivers side bolted just in front of the door). That doesn't have anything to do with your stalling issue though I don't think, but when those things fail, they fail in REAL weird ways.

Good thought on the CTM but, in 2000, it doesn't do anything with the brake lights, parking lights, head lights, or turn signals. It does do the wipers though.

Maybe it's a damaged harness to the rear lighting.

Well its the gas pedal that will make it stall. I am going to try to track it down this weekend. But I thought it was a ground. A ground won't usually force lights to stay on. So somewhere power is being forced on and when o try to use more things like the lights or anything its ccausing my truck to die down and stall. But it has changed a bit, do you think I should take a video of it? To show you

Grounds can and do make lights come on. It's amazing at what a bad ground can do.

I was going to suggest grounds as well. I replaced my right front fender after an accident, and wipers started coming on with the radiator fan. Talk about bizarre! Unhooked the water sprayer pump, problem goes away.
