brake issue 99 dakota sport

Like Magnet said, try bleeding the brakes the 2 man method. If you can't get a friend, wife, child, well-trained dog, then look up the 1 man method using a tube and bottle of brake cleaner. I use this method too.
When do you it this way, make sure you don't open the brake bleeders too much o you'll be bleeding for hours. I accidentally had them opened too much and air was entering through the threads of the bleeder

id have to agree with the master. part. and the down close up open methiod is good but it required two people and its used to trip the porprtioning valve. after that its not really effective.
as for us in NY DAM THE DOT AND THERE SALT. my truck is rotting away and i hat it. this year will be the second set of fenders and lines.

ok..replaced the master cylinder..Bench bled it befor installing it...Fluid coming from all 4 bleeders as it should..BUT the damn problem is still there..I read on the instruction sheet tha came with the master unit..Say something about a proportioning valve needing to be bled out..I know what and where it is,but HOW do you bled this damn thing out?
