Default Trouble down south

Hello once again, my dakota (1998 2wheel, 3.9L) has been giving me some trouble lately.Try to make this short and sweet and short. It is cutting off while driving down the road, sometimes stalling even when sitting still.Changed spark plugs, wires, air filter, cat converter{professional shop}, distributor cap, rotor, checked the throttle position sensor, had 2mechs look at it, they are stumped, one said it was my pcm.Got a trouble code 0420, annnnnnddddd.... well do not know what else to do. Checked the ASD relay it is working great, I can hear the fuel pump kicking in when ignition is switched to the on position, fuel pessure gauge reading was good,annnndddd..... oh, no vaccum leaks,so I do not know. Can a new member get some help please.

Can you move it for me or do I have to start all over with the questions in the dakota forum?

Unhappy trouble down south

Hello everybody I have 1998 dakota 2wheel 3.9L vehicle Make a long story short, the truck have been stalling and cutting off now for almost 2-3 weeks. Changed the spark plugs, wires distributor cap&rotor, air filter, switched to high-octane gas, had 2 mechs check it out, one said it was my pcm, other one said the truck has a ghost in it.Checked the throttle position sensor, it works great, can hear the fuel pump engage when switch is turned on, fuel pressure gage test was good, no vacuum leaks according to the second mech,Oh truck starts choking after 30-35 min ride to work then just shuts down, very difficult to restart{recrank} again, HHHHEEEELLLLLPPPPPP

Could be the idle air control valve. When it stalls going down the road does it happen when you lift up off the accelerator?

Any codes? Have you checked the IAC on back of the throttle body?
