Why go through that kinda work though instead of the easier/cheaper SAS?

How does that sound funky? The design seems to work well for Ford, Dodge, Chevy......
Even the 3rd gen Dakotas have suspension like his.
As for a sas being cheaper is doubtful. Sure it might be close if you do leaf springs, a dana 44, no locker and only running 33's. Thats also if you dont upgrade the axles or joints inside the dana 44.
Im not looking to build an off road only truck. This is for a better ride and to get 33's under it. As most trucks on here mine sees the road 98% of the time I drive it.
