1.5 body lift
#2
I'm just going to say yes... because when I did my 3 inch body lift and they said I had to "trim" the lip I ended up cutting so much off that the fan shroud broke in 2 places.
I cut it so the fan would not hit the fan shroud, about 2 weeks after whatever material was left became too weak and snapped and was now hitting the fan so I took the entire bottom half of the fan shroud off.

When I did my 3 inch lift the only things I had to worry about was the steering extension, the fan shroud, and the bumper relocation brackets.
Brake/fuel lines were fine.
If yours is a 5 speed then I believe you need to add a shifter extension - not sure with the 1.5 inch lift but its possible.
But of course have a look at everything as you lift just in case.

It would normally come with the kit, but since you plan on buying blocks to add to the frame you'd have to fabricate something.
It is very possible that with such a minimal lift you wont need to extend the steering, but I have a feelin you would need to adjust the shifter.
I can't speak any further in regards to that - I purchased my body lift as a kit from Performance Accessories.
