Default 99 v8 manual transfer case

i need a transfer case for a 99 dakota v8 5 sp tranny. would a v6 5sp tranfer case bolt up?

there are none around here . they have them for automatics but no manuals

I think so too. The only transfer case listed is the NV231.

bubba,

I have a 99 Cherokee 231 and a 98 Grand Cherokee 249. Both were behind automatics. Check this link, this link and this link, it may help as to what will work. Watch for input shaft depth and diameter. pm if you are interested in my cases. If far away from Texas shipping might lean you towards a better deal near you.
