Security feature engaged

Security feature engaged
I bought a 1997 Dakota SLT 4X4, the door needed replaced and now the security feature is engaged. The truck starts for 2 seconds and shuts itself down. I've researched this and everything i've read says to reset the PCM. Is this true? If so, how?
Any help is appreciated.

Thank you
Thanks for replying jkeaton. And the welcome message.
I've had the battery disconnected for a while now to troubleshoot because a light on the instrument cluster flashes, security. I'm afraid it might drain the battery and it's brand new. When I reconnect it, I have the same problem every time. One person gave these instructions:
Buckle the driver side seatbelt
Pull the PCM fuse #23
Turn the key to the on position
Wait for the 3 chimes then turn to off
Put the fuse back in and it is now reset.
I have yet to try this method because fuse #23 is not the PCM fuse, It's the DRL, daytime running lights. I can't find the PCM fuse to save my life!

Tried that
Yeah 00dakdan, I tried the key. I don't have a FOB. Everything I've read and the service advisor says the truck came with that security feature. I was hoping to circumvent it but it's not possible. You don't know which number fuse do you? The sticker inside the cover doesn't show a pcm fuse at all.

When I bought the truck, the door had already been replaced. (With a manual door, not powered.) I found a power door off a '97 or '98. My wife was cleaning the interior and hit the door lock switch on the passenger side. After that, nothing but problems.
As for fuses, there's one labeled jtec/fuel pump. There's one labeled auto shutdown.... related?
