Electrical Issues
Hi, I have a 2002 Dakota, V6 4x4 5-Speed manual and the other day some of the electrics stopped working.
The Radio, Controls for the Heat and A/C, and the 4 wheel drive switch stopped working.
If the headlights are off, the service 4 wheel drive light randomly flashes on and off while driving, if the headlights are on the service 4 wheel drive light stays on.
Any thoughts on what might be wrong?

I think you have a bad ground.
The radio, HVAC controls, CTM, and the transfer case use the same ground - G207.
It's located by the airbag control module, lower center of the instrument panel.
If you follow the harness you'll see it split off with two separate grounds. The one most forward is G207. Make sure they are both clean and tight.
Disconnect the battery before you remove the ground.
