hello there .. i got a dodge dakota 2003 4.7 and today it started making a wierd noise from around the fan clutch and there some metal grind around too ... and the truck stopped while on the drive...restarted it and shutted down after 10 seconde .... any help plz thank you .. and theres a video too u can ear the noise https://www.facebook.com/adam.allard.988

and if the fan clutch is death i can make my truck to stop running ?
Luckily, there is another place you can post the video. It's called youtube.com. A seized fan clutch would burn through the drive belt and that would quickly cause a whole host of things to stop working. Things such as the alternator and water pump.

Umm ... Fan clutch? No. What happens is the fan is run 100% all the time when the fan clutch seizes.
Or the fan blade comes off if it comes apart.
But no, it won't burn through the drive belt.
You're thinking of an idler, tensioner, or some other driven item off the belt (smog pump, power steering pump, whatever.)
That's the water pump. It's probably bad. Take the belt off and see if you have any play in the cooling fan. If it wobbles at all, time for a new water pump.
