Yea, something like that.

Both torque converters came in today.

Intake and AC bracket are still at powdercoat .....complications. You know, one-off racecar sh....stuff.

Going to silicone the ever living F out of the bellhousing and front pump and it's bolts. Still need to get the pan off and drill and tap it for a temp sensor, in addition to the one staying in the cooler line.

We're on hold with the dragster, everything is back together on the chassis except the engine. Reher-Morrison is finishing up the block and we're trying to hunt down the blower restraint system for our setup.

Note: DJ Safety are a bunch of cocky self entitled no-f*cks-given as*holes. Don't buy anything from them, even through another vendor or a "sponsor".

1) Intake and AC bracket got powdercoated

2) I got some idler pulley mounts from the dealer and another idler from oreilly's

3) I got a chinese power steering pump and pulley for mockup purposes. Yay advance 30% discount codes. Boo Hiss on core charges

4) AN hose fitting (straight) won't clear the AC bracket. Will try a 30 degree.

Procharger? Half-Check
Power Steering? Check
Air Conditioning? Check
Alternator? Check

Running out of things to do on the dragster. Reher-Morrison still has the block and heads.

Got a #10 30-degree fitting and notched the block-off plate. Everything should fit fine now. Also found a solution for the electric water pump's control sensor, integrating it into the heater core piping.

Doug Lee valvecovers will be here tomorrow, distributor on Thursday.

I need to write down and order the ECT, IAT, and OPS.

Engine Coolant Temperature: 56004815 ~$17
Intake Air Temperature: 56027872 ~$23
Oil Pressure Sensor: 56031005 ~$45
Camshaft Position Sensor: 56028143 ~$89 ? (OK, maybe later....)

I also need an 1/8" pipe plug.

Today was "Drive the race truck to work" day. Fixed a couple issues on my lunch break, still something going on under the cab that I need to investigate, it's like both lower control arms just just floppity flop but I know that's not the case.

Dragster engine is nearing completion.

Raced the truck this weekend. Went out second round, my 11.55 dial to his 7.55 dial. I went red, he was late and broke out. All i Had to do was be green.... Such is racing.

On the TexPlex scales, 2240 on the front, 1690 on the back, 3930 total, 4125 with me in it.

It was a long weekend. I spent $100 in entry fees (2 classes @ $50) for Mopars at the Motorplex. Went 25 red to the other guy's 8 red in first round of Truck, got down to 4 cars in DOT tire and got an $80 check. Not a bad second weekend in the jalopy. When i was swapping front wheels from race tires to street tires, found a severely cracked brake rotor. So I get to play with the brake system.....

Dragster engine is coming along. Made the fuel lines over the weekend, water lines tonight. Pushrods come in tomorrow, hopefully get all the valvetrain complete tomorrow and we can move on to getting the engine set into the car.

Found a 1" 4500/4150 adapter finally. Had to reach through a couple of contact trees to be connected with a guy down in Austrailia, PDH Precision Engineering.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/4500-HOLLEY...R/253308257729

Now I just need a 4150 nitrous plate to put under it.

I still need to get the intake manifold bolts.
