How many of you are running 5W-20?

I'm pretty sure a lot of you have seen this article all about the 4.7 on Allpar.com. It states the following... "Pump clearances are designed for the recommended 5W30 oil [this appears to have changed to 5W20, probably with the 2008 model year]."
So there were no major changes that would require a thinner oil in 2008. I assume that 5W20 is suitable for all 4.7 then. So how many of you are running it?
Oh and it also says.... "The engine is designed to operate 150,000 miles (240,000 km) under normal conditions without part replacement other than normal maintenance items." .... I'm at 270K, LOL

I just called 3 Dodge dealership here in the Atlanta area, pretending I was going to come in for an oil change. When I asked what oil weight they used, all three service advisers quickly said "5-20". I went further and told them the year of my truck asking if they were sure, and they pretty much all said that's all they use for the 4.7L. So it would seem, 5W20 is truly the recommended oil for the 4.7L and I might be running oil thats too thick... LOL
So here's where I might be taking it too far, but if 5W-20 works, why not 0W-20? I mean it's only 0 weight while cold, right? We might as well discuss it. The forum's been dead lately anyway.

What oil filter are you using? Most likely the oil is draining down into the pan and then refilling the lifters - not something that the 5w-20 would make a big difference with.
An oil filter anti drainback valve should help though.

I've used a variety of good filters, all with anti-drainback valve. Right now I have a Puralator Boss on it. With the 4.7, the filter is vertical with the threaded end up, so I doubt it would drain anyway.
I've had quite a few people tell me they have the same start up rattle and I suppose with almost 300K, it's to be expected. I'm just trying to maximize oil flow across the board.
I'll admit, I also obsess over oil a bit. Spend way too much time on bitog. I also keep tabs on a objective blog where oils films are torture tested to the point of scarring metal. The highest scoring oil is currently Mobil 1 F5 0w-40, European car formula. The second highest? Quaker State Ultimate durability 0W-20, full syn. It even beat out the 5W-20 and 30 versions of the same oil. I already run this oil in my Honda.

Yes, it is mounted threaded end up. I'm assuming the oil comes down from the oil galleries and back out through the pump.
Can't prove it does/doesn't happen.
I really wouldn't worry about 6 seconds. If I did, I'd get a pre-oiler. That's the best solution.
