Whines in right turn

Default Whines in right turn

Hi i recently bought a 98 dakota 3.9 auto 2wd ext cab....killer deal only paid 400 has some cosmetic issues but that dont bother me....what does bother me is that it whines only in right turns it was lil low on power steering fluid but topped it off and no change...any ideas??

How many miles on it? How old is the pump? Any leaks in the system?

The odo says 187xxx but it stopped workin at some point...i havent noticed any leaks in the system.....i was thinkin wheel bearing but didnt kno if it would only do it in right turn makes no noise whatsoever in left turns

Does it whine turning the wheel to the right, while standing still?

Does it whine as soon as you try and turn right? Or only when you get to the lock?
