Default alarm

My doors lock and unlock on their own. I do not have a remote key or keyless entry. I have to unlock hatch then front door to get inside without alarm going off. Most of the time it works, other times the alarm goes off anyway and I have to crank it for it to turn off. It's an 02 durango r/t

You may have a keyless entry system, especially if you have an alarm. Find a cheap dodge keyfob on ebay and follow the programming procedure to see if you can pair it with your durango. You might just have found a feature you didn't know you had.

You won't be able to "pair" it without a working remote. The dealer can.

https://itstillruns.com/program-keyl...b-6194237.html Grounding pin 1 to 4 bypasses the dealer.
