Default Grinding after hitting bump

I’ve got a 00 Dakota SLT with 4x4, and it is starting to have a grinding sound that is very inconsistent. It tends to happen after I hit a bump, but not all the time. In order to get it to stop I must come to a stop, or slow down and swerve really hard to the right. If I could get any help on the direction to look for what’s wrong it would be greatly appreciated!
