Default Battery drain, lights half on and buzzing!

Hi. 2001 4.7 manual 4x4 sport. I have a 3 amp draw when battery hooked up, and as I said, the headlights are always on, but really dim, and buzzing. I took them out, can find no shorts there. Also, interior lights have a mind of their own, and turn on and off intermittently. I’ve tried all the fuses, none are breaking from the draw, so I’m not sure it’s a wiring short. Using the key turn method i get no codes. Any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated.

Not that I know of. It’s got those little round fog lights. Under the headlights. It’s old.

Sounds like a ctm issue. It controls the headlights and the tone generator.

That would be great. I’ve tried all the fuses and relays, so I guess that’s next. Thanks for replys.

I dont think it will do anything, but for poop, grins, and laughs, unplug the CTM completely, wait many minutes, then plug it back in.

It's in the driver footwell next to the parking brake.
