Yea when it's a thermal thing like that, it won't throw codes because the PCM is shutting down before it can commit them to memory. Try the screw/washers trick just for grins.
Yea last nite i messed up and didnt wait for the codes to show but the dash showed the obvious 920 921 and 999 code but it stalled on me and i took the pcm off and stuck ice on it and it started right back up so yea new pcm
Those codes are just from a cluster test, they aren't really helpful on troubleshooting your issue.
