unfortunately the rear brakeline had been out of production and unobtainium for a couple years. You'll have to get a roll and make your own line.

have to make your own line. you can rent the tools at most parts stores. It may sound daunting, but its not that bad once you get the hang of it.

Yeah pretty easy to do actually. I've had to do it a few times on Dak, 4 I think. Just have to learn how to flare the line, which isn't hard either. I have come across both a double flare and a bubble flare on my truck, no idea why there are two different flares on it, except maybe for the fact that it's a Daimler built truck and bubble flares are a european thing.

One caveat on making your own lines. Don't forget to put the fittings on before you flare the ends. Don't ask me how I know. Let's just say there's no feeling like looking at a beautiful flare on the line then see the ends laying on the bench. Also, make sure they are pointed the right way. I watched a guy do that once who made the mistake of telling me to shut up. So I did.

I had to laugh when I read this one. I am ashamed to admit the number of times I have bent up a line, got everything in place, put a nice flare on the end of the line, and only then noticed the flare nut was still laying on the floor........

When I had a leak on mine I just put another line on it, from a used dakota, that was in good condition[ 1 piece line an fittings].
No problems.
