Default ABS Light

I have a Dakota 1999 and I’m having trouble with the abs/parking break lights.

Randomly my ABS and PB light will be on. I’ve tried setting the PB and releasing it again but the light still stays on. tThe people at my local Golden Rule Break just replaced the break pads and still no luck on the ABS light. Any ideas?

2 or 4 wheel ABS? Does the speedometer freak out when the lights are on?

If the ABS light is on a code should be stored. You'd need a compatible scanner though.

The nicer obd/abs ,rentable, scanner can read an reset the abs codes.
I used it on mine for a reset after brake work .
You get your $ bk too !

Drum or disk in back doesn't matter. Are there wheel speed sensors on the front?
