Hi guys new to this page so bare with me. So my ac compressor was shot, I bought a new one. Replaced it, charged it to manufacturers specs. After charging it, I’ve notice my clutch still wouldn’t engage or spin. The clutch spins freely so it is not seized (brand new) I checked the 2 fuses in the fuse box and it’s ok. My horn works. I’m not sure what else to check.. would it be possible that the new compressor I got is bad? Or the wiring inside the compressor/windings are loose or not connected? Should I go purchase a new one?

You can jump the clutch with 12v to see if it engages.

There should also be a relay in the PDC under the hood.
