Most every vid I watched talked about how much of a problem the nut on the top of the shock would be to remove and that was about it. Those came off with little effort, but the bolt for the bottom... Not so much,
And both sides look like this.
Buy new lower control arms and start over, right?

Is that bolt going into a threaded hole? If so, hit it with a torch. Get it nice and hot, (glowing red) grab the end of the bolt you can see with vice grips, and work it back and forth till it moves easy, then it should come out. You can use an old tin can as a heat shield to protect what I think is a bushing in the pic.
