Problem fixed. I still have a transmission fluid leak out of one of the cooler lines. I wonder if it would be wise to cut the bad section out and replace it with soft line being that it's near the exhaust pipe. It's just a drip, but stop leak hasn't done anything and leaking fluids is wasted money.

Have you priced the line? Might be less hassle to replace, rather than cobble something together.
$148 for the upper line. I traced the line, and it connects to the radiator, so I have to tear out the reservoir.
Not sure what you mean by "I have to tear out the reservoir." The lines connect at the side of the radiator/cooler and unscrew right there. I see all kinds of prices for lines. Post your truck details or better yet, add them to your signature.

Oh! yea, if it's near the exhaust, you're going to have problems. Using a stainless braided 6AN hose will buy you some time, but it will likely eventually melt from the heat as well.
