Bumper mounts are a common and easy fix, at least.

I've got a fairly large garage with a propane heater. I can only get one car in there with all the other junk. When I first built it, I had 4 in there at one time. If I feel like working on something, I do it. If not, it's patient and I'll get to it when I get to it. If I'm out there fora while, it may be 70 degrees after a while. Projects can be patient. I'm old, but I'm not really lazy. I just have a lot going on all the time.

I am old, and indeed lazy. And well aware of it. Of course, the MS doesn't help, and the fact that I can't work for very long before I am just done....... and have to take a break for a few hours/days....... I really dislike that part, but, it's what I have to live with now. Unfortunately, I can't last long enough to get done what I need to, in the time I am allowed..... and I don't have heat in my garage at the moment. (though the garage is better insulated than the house..... ) Fortunately, none of my vehicles require any major repairs at the moment, and if something comes up, I have a garage I trust, that I have know for a long time. (used to work there too, that doesn't hurt.) So I let them deal with the stuff that I simply can't do anymore...... So, I spend my time here instead, helping others with their issues, and learning some stuff myself along the way.

I joined the old and lazy club a while back too.

I'm in ATL and while it does get cold enough to be in the teens here, warm days (fifties and sixties) do come mixed in, so I just wait for those. I don't like laying on concrete anymore at any temperature and my patience has grown short. I'm trying to work smarter versus harder these days, but you have to be smart first... LOL. My body is not what it used to be. I can torque something hard by hand, only to wake up with pain like I strained something the next day. Last trip to the junkyard was about two months ago and instead of carrying my usual backpack with tools, I had a heavy tool bag with a carry strap draped over my neck and shoulders, walking around all day. Damn thing weighed about 50 lbs (I tend to carry too much) . I think it shifted a nerve and now I'm having recurring pain like a pinched nerve in my neck that lasts for days. It's so bad I have to prepare myself just to roll over in bed, so a trip to the Dr. is coming up.

The whole back story on this truck is so sketchy and has changed a few times depending on who you talk to. The story I was told is the motor blew up in Texas and they installed the hitch and towed it to Arizona in 2017. (AZ plates are 2017 tagged) I have paperwork that was in the glove box showing it was towed down here from the Phoenix/Mesa area. Its anybody's guess what the real story is, don't really care, it's mine now. Local P.D. has checked it twice comes up clean, MVD has checked it at least twice, clean there too. It's going to have a good life now.

I was surprised to see they mounted the bracket directly to the bumper like that. If it had been me I would have been concerned towing it too far and would have likely opted to trailer it.

I'm 31 feeling 50-something if it makes you feel better.

I was referring to how the front bumper is sagging at the fender opening. It's very common for the bumper brackets to come loose, they are held on by six #8 screws per bracket (a dozen screws total), despite two M18 bolts per bracket (lol). Not sure who came up with that design. Yours also probably doesn't have the support braces going from above the fog light openings, to the frame rail. Those were used with the 97-99 steel bumpers but tossed with the 01-04 plastic bumpers.
