Wow thats great to see everything on it via vin! Thanks!
What site do i go to to get that in the future?

I got the old one out an new one in place but still need to hook up drive shaft an tighten big bolts, put cover on,add fluid,.When this rain ends that is.
What should i do to test pinion an front bearings on used one before hook up to shaft an after?
My old one did seemed bad.
An can i use brake clean to get the gunk off old inside differential ?
Any other info is appreciated.

Got it running!
That front pinion bearing was the humming culprit!!
Hopefully the 2004 has some time left on the pinion bearings ..it felt smooth .
This was easier..an faster .Thanks for that reference info.!

Dodge build sheet from here. It says its only for 98 and up vehicles, but, it worked for my 96 Ram as well. I think the older ones are rather hit and miss. Might work, might not.
