Did the math...

3.44% for 3.55 gears & 265-70-16 tires vs 3.55 gears & 265-75-16 tires with original ECU
10.7% for 3.55 gears & 265-75-16 tires with JY ECU (assuming 3.92 gearing)

Those numbers seem to be close to what I see with torque, gps speed vs obd port speed.( had 3.3% for tire swap and 11% for JY ECU)

Used this website to help... http://www.grimmjeeper.com/gears.html

Will go back and re-calculate the 1st 17.9x tank with the different offset to make it a better comparison and will edit this post with the numbers

Best tank, recalculated is exactly 18.000 mpg's, insignificant change.

17.262 mpg over 210+ miles... tough to get past the low 17s! and its looking like IM blanket is not much of a contributor. (this surprises me, usually hotter intake temps causes lower air density which drops injected fuel qty)

sure is looking like the jtcm was good for a good bump in mpg... (had the best tank of 18.000 with JTCM installed)

I only see a increase for about 5 F over the stock IM and the IM with the heatshield, like you i expected it would warm up far more.

Temps are rising with the stormfront over here, storm is starting this evening, and lots of rain, which made the ambient temperatures rise.
In the morning it's about 46 F and in the afternoon 54 F.
This is why i noticed today an improvement on fuel economy, despite the hard winds.

Can't test the IM blanket with so many weather changes, too the normal weather patron, so i'll leave it on a bit longer for next week.

The weather here has been pretty stable, temps in the 40-55* range. In the morning, IATs start out about 50ish, by the time I'm getting off the freeway near work, they are up in the upper 80's to lo 90's. As soon as I'm off throttle and the engine is up to temp, IATs rise +10~12*.

Have had the expansion tank cracked for a while now, been leaking off & on. Going to have to swap it this weekend and will most likely go ahead and re-crimp the accessible sides of the radiator seal. (was weeping on one side). May also do the fan delete at the same time.

plug swap done today, took the original plugs that it had when i got it, cleaned up the plug tops, and filed the grounds clean (no pitting) and re-gapped them. had what i thought was a slight misfire i could here climbing a hill near home & apparently i was correct, runs better up the hill oddly, never really heard it anywhere else. might be because the hill is a 2nd gear hill.

radiator confirmed leaking, popped on a 13 psi cap, leak reduced quite a bit and will hold untill new radiator gets here.
