The 3/4" main hub bolt?

180 ft-lb is the factory spec. Anything north of 150 should be okay.

USE ANTI-SIEZE OR THREAD LUBE.

The 3/4" bolt in the dragster is 250 ft-lb (highest the wrench goes) plus 1/8 of a turn

You are correct..
the other engines are 130 ft lbs but these 3.9 an similar are 180..

What technique do you use to prevent the balancer from turning when its already at 130?

Put some big bolts in the 2 large holes in balancer an a piece of steel to the engine?

Bracing it against the cover probably isn't a good idea. It is aluminum after all. Put a couple bolts in, and use a bar thru the bolts to hold it in place. Or, do what I do, and just whack it in with an impact wrench, and call it a day.

Yep I could only get it to around 130 then i just used that earthquake/ impact on it a couple of times.
Not sure but if you were to guess would you say I gained another 20 or 30 ft lb ? I saw the socket turn another 1/2 inch as impact was on it .then it stopped .

thanks.

Quite likely more than that. But, if it's tight enough not to come loose, but not so tight it breaks, it's all good.
