Delphi Fuel Pump Module Assembly - FG0234 https://a.co/d/cdbN9tb
This is what I'm ordering. It says it does not come with a rollover valve or return line. Do I need to replace those when I do the pump?

Fuel system is returnless, so, that's not an issue. Rollover valve though.... They like to self-destruct when pulling 'em out of the original pump module. Be careful with it.

Okay! I'll have to research rollover valves. If they're cheap, I'll go ahead and get one on the way.
Next question: drop the tank or raise the bed?

Why full, of course. I was smart and filled her up prior to an ice storm. 🤦‍♂️

That's definitely 'lift the bed' territory then.

My fuel pump delivered today, so I will try to tackle this job this weekend. Upon research of the rollover valve, I have found that they are a rare breed indeed. I hope mine is working and I don't break it.

Default Getting there

I have everything exposed and cleaned up. Now. I have to remember how these disconnects work. I really don't want to break anything at this point. From looking at the old pump and the new pump I don't see the dreaded rollover valve. At least I'm hoping I don't have one. Am I wrong? I still have to get the old pump out but I thought the rollover valve sat on top. Here are some pictures.

New pump

Yeah, looks like they did something different there. Your new pump should be a direct replacement.

Need the
cool tool cool tool
for the quick disconnects. I think they are 3/8ths. I got mine at my local parts store, made out of aluminum. Works great.

Well, she started right up and ran well. I have been up for over 24 hrs. so I will finish putting her back together tomorrow. I'll take her out for a drive to be sure everything is up to snuff. Thanks so much for helping me figure this out, Hey You!! I have some other work to do starting next weekend and will be sure to create new topics for the repairs.

The hardest steps in this repair were:
  1. Getting the new seal to seat all the way into the gas tank. That took some finagling.
  2. Getting the lockring to thread back on was also tricky and took some time as well.
Finally, my hands hurt so time for a naproxen and coffee. That should fix me up just fine.
