Default Linkage

While troubleshooting a wheel bearing issue, I noticed that my 4wd selector is not connected to my transfer case. There seems to be part of the linkage missing. Can someone tell me what that part name might be, and where I can find one? The piece missing connects from the bottom of my selector in the cab to the fork in the transfer case itself. It looks like it would be about 6" long with bolts on both ends.

Edit: I'm not really a car guy, so all I can tell you is it's a Dakota, 3.9 V-6, 4wd (obviously). The front differential was replaced 6 mos ago or so. Hope this helps enough.

Here is one for the 231 t-case.... Not sure if the 242 uses the same rod. 242 case has an All Wheel Drive setting. 231 does not.

The rod is held in place with grommets. I found mine dangling once. You'll need to replace them as well.
I think the p/n is: 5017960AA. It may have been updated.
