Factory tach wiring

Yes, whenever I initially started the motor on the stock fuel injection, the tach worked fine. It only stopped working when i went carbureted

Since all the other gauges work, the tach should as well..... did the sensor or wiring get damaged??

I would think that PCM would set a code if it wasn't getting a signal from the crank sensor. Have a scanner you can plug in, and see what the PCM thinks? Is the PCM seeing an RPM reading?

My guess is there should be multiple MIL for fuel injectors unplugged, as such the PCM may be going into safety shutdown and not sending a tach/cam sync signal.
