So far as I know, the cluster gets ALL of its information of what to display on the communications bus. Some lights *might* have a default 'on' state, if the cluster isn't getting info..... Not sure on that.

I found a wire broken off today hanging down by the gas pedal. Looked and couldn't find where it went to does anyone know what it goes to?

It is just one wire in that room it is black and pink. The harness it's tied into ghost over to the airbag controller? That's behind the center console in the dash. The wire loom holder is broken off is right above the gas pedal in the dash The wire seems like it couldn't gave reached very far. I attached some more pictures.

If you can find where it originates, (trace it back) you can use wiring diagrams to figger out where it is supposed to end up. May be as simple as a ground wire....

It goes back into another one of those looms that are braded.

They use that color wire in a variety of places though.... for various purposes.... Need to open the loom, see where it ends up.
