All the stuff that works, are driven individually, all the stuff that doesn't work, is driven by a solid state microprocessor in the cluster, that gets its info on the CCD bus. Check fuses 12, and 17, in the fuse block inside the truck.

The 12 fuse has some kind of lock on it. But it will pull out some and the interior lights go off when I plug it back in they come back on so it's working. Checked a few 17 before just did it again with the voltmeter and it's good.

Fuse 17 feeds pin 2 on the cluster connector, check for voltage there. Orange/light green.

Fuse 12 feeds pin 6 on the cluster connector, pink wire. Verify that one.

Pink wire is 12.3 v key off and orange with green is 12.3v with key on.

So you have power..... I don't recall, have you tried a cluster test?? With ignition off, press and hold the trip/reset button, turn ignition on, test should start in a couple seconds, let go the button. ALL of the lights should come on, and the gauges should go thru a full sweep.

It won't do that there is no odometer showing. I have done that before just to see if it worked back when the gauges first started acting up.

It's not the cluster. With all this rain we are getting its working again and it was off for a little while today and came back on. I think it's a wiring issue and its getting wet while sitting causing it to work. Going to see if I can see anything when it stops raining.

Default On going cluster issue

The cluster issue is still going on but changed. The lights all stayed on but the gauges worked for a couple months. Then tonight the air bag and brake light came on also. When driving the speedo will cut out then with in a couple of seconds the tach will cut off and the mileage will blink and say no bus them all the gauges will cut off. If I hit the windshield washers the gauges start working again for a little bit. Also when you turn the high beams on an off it makes the gauges work for a little bit. Moving the stalk back and forth doesn't effect anything. Also when you blow the horn the windshield wipers turn on and go three times like when pressing it to wash the windshield

Need to have a close look at the wiring in the dash.
