No shift from 3-4
Sensors changed, as did the way they mount. The external connector stayed the same. The newer PCM expects a different range from the pressure and temp sensors, than the older sensors provide, so, the PCM constantly thinks the trans is too hot, and disables O/D. Install the correct year sensors, (governor pressure sensor and solenoid) and you are all set. However, the mounting bracket changed as well... If you still have your old trans, you can get the bracket from it.
UPDATE: I swapped the sensors from the dead tranny and replaced the 3-4 accumulator spring which was also broken into 3 pieces, transmission now shifts into all gears seamlessly! Thank you for all your help y’all!
