Default Still dinging

Have a 2nd gen. Dakota replaced the computer. Replace the body module and my ding still persists especially when I have the headlights on. What else can I do to fix?

Is there a check display or light indicating what it's complaining about along with the ding?

Yeah, I didn't mean CEL. Sometimes it will say "check gauges" and you'll see something else requiring attention, such as low washer fluid, overheating, etc. I've had the mystery dings and I'd reset by pulling the battery cables overnight.

No everything's topped off clean fuel level. Someone did tell me once before it might be a door sensor but I'm like there's no door light coming on

Sorry about the double posts

But there was one thing I forgot now. I do have an airbag light that comes on every few drive cycles or days, but the dinging was happening before the airbag light ever came on and the airbag light came on this past year. I've been dealing with the Ding for last 2 years since replacing the body module the digging has settled down but it does happen when I go above 40 occasionally and mainly when I have my lights on and the AC/heater on the most

The dinging is not constant. Sometimes it doesn't even happen at all. Then next thing you know it it starts doing it again.if your talking about the the sound. Yes, it's like if you left your key in the ignition or your headlights are on while The engine is off and try to get out the door

Check out the wiring diagrams here. Should be able to find that circuit, and see what all will set it off, or..... keep it quiet. Not entirely sure how the system works, but, I would *guess* that however it determines the engine is running, is the part that isn't working.
