run 38 psi.....that's what I ran on both of my Dakotas, the V6 RC and the V8 CC. I kept it at that psi even when I went to my Kumho street tires...

Thanks .. I will try that I went to 35 and it seems to mess up the mileage. Was getting about 21.2 mpg avg all the time. Now its stuck on 19.8.

i got tires 1000 mi ago, they offered n2 and i went for it. both front and rear at 37, i would like to say that it helps the mpg, but to justify that i would need to blead off some and pay for the n2 again. seems to work though.

n2? Is that Nitrogen? Why is that preferable to regular old compressed air? Is it a question of being more inert to make the tires last longer, or is there something about it that helps you keep more even pressure?

Nitrogen is lighter.

Nitrogen stays at a constant psi regardless of heat......it doesnt expand and contract like oxygen...therefore you get better gas mileage because your tires are properly aired up.

Nitrogen also doesnt leak out like air...so if you have a flat...there's a hole in the tire.....it's well worth it...but it costs like 30-40 for 4 tires.

It's worth the expense. Properly aired tires will improve mpg, improve driving, and also save you money on tire wear.
