Yeah I was thinking about getting a air funnel on the tip. If you want to make it Bling Bling I saw a chrome one that is only like 15 bucks at Auto Zone. I also thought about doing something like adding sheet metal to the bottom to keep the hard turns at bay. Did you get anymore power out of that?

its hard to say for sure, but i wouldn't doubt it. after everything was finished though, there is quite a diff in power from just running a k&n compared to having cold air forced fed through the front grill. my sheet metal needs to be perfected but i think i like the whole idea of it.

itg makes a better flowing filter i think, but its still gunna cost $$... i think its worth the $35.00 for a good filter because you never have to buy one again and u know its doing a good job cleaning and its high flow, but since were into fabricating mods for our trucks with pocket change, you could always make one out of a tooth pick, rubberband and a paper clip.

Dodge the k&n drop in is only like 40ish or so right? I would say make that the big tickect item in your intake. It's good for the rest of the life of the truck it just needs to be cleaned every 10k miles or so.

well i thought they were a lot more than that. 40 bucks is like a major relief i think i might just go ahead and drop one of them in looks like you cant rely on ur friends oppinions on how much stuff costs lol but hey how hard are they to clean i heard something about an oil treatment and whatnot?
