70mm sounds pretty damned big unless you're running the mods to need that big of a tb. There are performance drawbacks to going too big on the throttle body.

like I said on my other thread... describe to me how more air can be bad. what does a ram air do, force in more air.... what does a turbo do...force in more air. i think you are off your stool on that one.

Injectors can't keep up with air supply

These are generally used in conjunction with other add ons like intake manifold, injectors, ect....

Your motor is a balance of parts, you never want to go extreme in just one area. 70mm is a huge TB for a 4.7L. There is a guy on here with an RT, user2006 or something. He has an RT with more then average mods was looking at a 53 or 54mm I think. You have a liter less motor so....lets hear what other mods you have.

I think his uses a diffrent TB 70mm is huge if its a duel hole TB, but im thinking itd a single, if so then thats actually pretty good, big for a single is like 80mm or 90mm, big for a dual hole tb is like 55mm thats a 408 tb on a 360, and yes i can tell you all about un even moding. I have big injectors and im running way to rich, thats the main reason why im getting a bigger TB, with my cam and headers and injectors it should even out the air to fuel ratio and i shouldnt be running rich anymore.

After i put my tb on im thinking of getting the trucked tuned also. At my local shop. I ran a dyno before all this and got 266rwhp im going to do a dyno after all this tuning and upgrades and see what kind of diffrence it makes.

it is a single port throttle body, so 70mm isn't oversized at all. per 2 different dodge dealers (i always call for a second opinion) the stock 4.7l injectors can push up to 25 lbs with the addition of either a performance fuel pump or fuel regulator. i found a couple other info sites and called BBK the manufacture of the throttle body and each claim that it is a direct bolt on with nothing else needed, i think i will go with the addition of the fuel regulator though.
