Default Off-Road Story Telling

Does anyone have any stories to tell abouttheir off-road adventure? Just the other night I took my truck off-road for the first time. The snow is just now melting here in Missouri and my friend and I where on a path on the farm. The farm has terraces around the pond. There were huge puddles between each terrace. The water was probably 1 to 2 feet deep in places on soft ground. I charged in there and the water flew over the truck about 10 to 15 feet high. Here comes the best part. The windshield was covered in water and grass. When I turned on the wipers there was another terrace up ahead. I didn't slow down andIjumped it withall 4 wheels off the ground and the truck slammed to ground. I have a tonneau cover and it came undone and broke one shock that held it up and it flew off the truck. It cracked the corner of it. The truck has no damage except for the tonneau cover which came with the truck whenI bought it. Nothing broke in the tranny, shocks, springs, or and steering components. I was freaking amazed nothing broke. I will never do something like that again, but it goes to show some of stuff you can put a truck through.

This weekend I took the Dak out to the Glamis sand dunes. I hit the big jump on the dragsout there and caught about 30 feet of air at 50 mph.

Nice diagram, that one looks like it hurt. I don't think I got that high, but it was probably around 5 feet. It's just good that it lands on all 4's, because a faceplant would really F-UP the truck.

I didn't know we had a Picasso on our hands. That is the funniest thing I have ever seen. Good job!

I was off roading in my friends field acouple years ago with the 88 dak. and I was doin about 80kms and I hit a dirtbike jump and got massive air. it came crashing down and only broke the exhaust off of it. and the box came out of alignment.

I used to have a 85 ford bronco on 36's and I used to go off roading every weekend in it. once we got her stuck in a pond up past the hood. lets just say that was the end for her

There must have been some kinda wind added to the superlight engine. (didn't notice)
I'm shocked my tires stood up. I did have to knock down the fenders in the engine comp.

And Virused, Picasso has nothing on me in Paint
